Product Designer

Our ideal candidate seeks to understand the user and the business behind the product; collaborate with clients and the multidisciplinary team to ideate and create impactful solutions.
We are a fast growing company with diverse teams and international clients. We are looking for a person to join our design team at the Helsinki office. This is a highly collaborative role for a designer, who enjoys driving our cross-functional teams towards delivering intelligent, immersive and delightful digital solutions with the help of AI and Metaverse technology. You will get to work with fellow designers, product managers, developers, AI and Metaverse specialists, and clients.

The Role

  • Collaborate on planning and delivering exciting design and development projects.
  • Together with your team, identify the business and user problems worth solving and design ideas worth pursuing.
  • Prepare user insights & research plans and conduct the researches using design research techniques.
  • Drive the full design process from early ideation, prototyping, testing to market-ready UI. This role emphasizes the need for strong UI/UX skills.
  • Collaborate closely with your cross-functional team members in an agile environment.
  • Work on user journey maps, user flow descriptions, prototypes and workshops to communicate the desired, end to end user experience across teams.
  • Help shape the design culture at Younite-AI with our team.

You are

  • You have 3+ years of product design experience with released digital products, including mobile apps and web services.
  • You have excellent collaboration and communication skills in English and Finnish.
  • You are at home with iterative, user-centered design methodologies, and familiar with usability and accessibility concerns in product design.
  • You excel at distilling complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences. You use a structured, methodical approach to problem solving.
  • You are comfortable presenting your ideas to stakeholders. You can explain the reasoning behind your choices, but remain open to adjusting based on feedback.
  • You are proactive and self-confident, and able to cope with changing and evolving priorities in an agile environment. You are a team player and you can make decisions.
  • Your work demonstrates understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. We expect you to have a solid grasp of iOS, Android, and web design conventions.
  • You’re fluent with Figma
